Jimmy Choo Academy New Campus
Photographing the New Jimmy Choo Academy Campus at Historic Boston Manor House.
It was a pleasure to be invited to photograph the newly opened campus of the Jimmy Choo Academy, set within the beautifully restored Boston Manor House in Brentford, West London. This historic 17th Century building has been thoughtfully transformed into a cutting-edge creative space, where the next generation of fashion talent can now learn, create and collaborate.
The Academy’s 2nd home was to be photographed, showcasing not just the impressive architecture of the Manor itself, but also the vibrant life within its walls. The shoot included a wide range of photos, from architectural exteriors and detailed shots of the restored interiors, to the state of the art equipment installed across the new design studios, lecture rooms, and workspaces.
The interiors have been sensitively restored and modernised, balancing the building’s period character with a fresh, contemporary feel that suits the energy of the Academy perfectly. From sweeping staircases to clean, modern studios, every corner of the space offered something visually compelling to capture.
Alongside the building itself, I also spent time photographing lecturers and students in action, capturing authentic moments of learning, collaboration and creativity. These behind the scenes images showing off the Jimmy Choo Academy talented individuals who, when given tools and space, they can thrive in their craft.
This shoot wasn’t just about photographing a beautiful space, it was about documenting a new chapter for the Academy, as it continues to grow and invest in the future of fashion education in London.
